Madison Park Development Corporation (MPDC) celebrated its 55th anniversary with a mural named Love Letter to Roxbury in Roxbury's Nubian Square.

The Corporation brought in a team of artists and six youth participants to create the mural. James Pierre, Founder of Adius Arts Initiative prepped the the crew with art history, art basics and the history of Roxbury to help develop the concept for the mural and design.
"I jumped on the opportunity to be a part of it because as an advocate of the arts I believe in public art, the impact of murals and what they do in terms of representation."
